Neurotoxin to the masseter muscles is a wonderful treatment for:

Typically A LOT of Botox, about 20-50 units per side, is needed to give a beautiful aesthetic result or reduce TMJ pain. The amount varies on how big and strong the masseter muscle is, and also your personal anatomy and preference.

The masseter muscle has 2 heads, the superficial and deep, so it’s important to inject neurotoxin into both sites. If your injector does not know this, they need to review their anatomy to get the best results!

Masseter Botox seems to last longer than 3-4 months. Most of my patients notice a slimming effect for 4-5 months.
